Green Envy. 5

I know that I already professed my love for Autumn in my last blogpost but let’s go straight for round two shall we?

Over the last couple of weeks, the weather in Glasgow has been surprisingly delightful; very cold but dry and often sunny. If I was to add another point to the things I love the most about Autumn, a crisp and light morning will be on top of the list.

The leaves are hitting the ground creating a wonderful rug of oranges hues on the still deep green grass.

Those seasonal colours have definitely been inspiring my wardrobe choices lately, as this OOTD proves.img_6742

On this beautiful Sunday morning my friend and I took a stroll around the West End of Glasgow and ended up taking those pictures in the beautiful University of Glasgow. Although I studied here for 2 years, I still find myself taken aback by the sheer beauty of the place (Hogwarts anyone?!).

I might appear slightly weird on this one, but I absolutely LOVE transitionning from one season to another and get genuinely excited at the prospect of rummaging my closet to sort out and find the summer pieces I could still incorporate in my autumnal wardrobe.

On that occasion it was my long sleeve Uniqlo striped shirt (you can find a similar one here); it seems I cannot get enough of this piece as I wear it literally ALL. THE. TIME! I won’t be breaking any news by affirming it is a timeless staple.

The rest of the outfit consist entirely of new additions to my wardrobe, but with almost all of them being Primark pieces do not fear breaking the bank!

Suede skirt are massively in this season, and this little number only cost me £8! I especially love the front gold zipper detail.

Oversized scarves are a must during Autumn/Winter in my opinion, and this beige hued piece also from Primark will keep me extra warm on those chilly mornings!

Hello bargain! How GORGEOUS are those ankle boots?! I picked them up from Miss KG on sale in House of Fraser and were reduced from £100 to £59! The heel is definitely quite high but surprisingly very comfortable to walk in! As with the skirt, the gold detailing is a big bonus for me.

Accessories wise, I am wearing a marbled necklace and pearls hoops from Forever 21, and a collection of various rings from H&M.

Finally, let’s talk about what is for me the star of the show; this beautiful deep forest green structured bag. I find it very Celinesque chic in appearance, with its upper handle and long strap, and the size of it is absolutely perfect for me.

Looking at it, I bet you would not guess it comes from … Primark! At £9, I’m calling it my best autumnal bargain yet.
